Law Enforcement
This course is designed to improve the interpersonal skills of law enforcement personnel at every experience level including uniformed officers, investigators, hostage negotiators, SWAT teams, Homeland Security, federal agents, private detectives, campus police, corrections officers, etc.
Goals of the 7 hour, full day Mastering Body Language™ for Law Enforcement course are to:
- Improve the ability to read and interpret a variety of body language cues and non-verbal communication signals.
- Recognize the non-verbal signals of potentially-violent behavior and the manner in which those signals may be masked by the Subject.
- Develop rapport-building skills in order to either increase or decrease a Subject’s comfort or discomfort level, depending on the goal.
- Advance the ability to recognize and act upon gestural incongruencies during questioning or interviewing of a subject.
Law Enforcement personnel will be required to pass the written and practical portions to earn the Mastering Body Language™ for Law Enforcement basic certificate.
